4.5 out of 5 stars
Minus 1/2 for no native Linux port.
Lets talk about remotely accessing a system.
I hope it’s no secret. I’m no fan of Log me in. I switched to team viewer and have not looked back. It’s like every release of team viewer they make it better and better.
I generally don’t bother to update it as it sits in my system tray and just works.
Version 11 is an exception it makes things so much more responsive! I’m updating all the systems that I manage pro actively this time.
If that wasn’t enough to make you upgrade or give it a try. Lets throw in Android support. You can remotely control your Android devices from your computer now. You can use your Keyboard to type txt messages, you can even uninstall programs.
Lastly the Linux version, Its not native it’s run in wine but there have been many stability improvements. It was hardly usable in version 10. Now in version 11 I’ve not had any issues connecting even on slow remote connections.
Team Viewer is Free for personal use you might as well give it a try.
Another Note is that their site changed. They canned the young lady that was pointing at their logo and replaced her with a Video.
So long… You will be missed.
I must admit that their new site looks about the same maybe a bit more professional.
